Artifact 1: “A Park Built Around the River”
Type of Art: Photo

Caption:The Charles River is the main feature that connects the natural and recreational parts of the park.
Short Description:When I arrived, I noticed that Artesani Park is designed around the Charles River. The river, trees, and paths create a natural space, while the nearby roads remind me that the park is still part of the city. People can walk, bike, exercise, or relax beside the water.
Artifact 2: “A Park for the Community”
Type of Art: Audio recording
Caption:The different sounds show how the park is shared by families, people exercising, and wildlife.
Short Description:Artesani is more than a quiet natural area. It has a playground, wading pool, and spray deck that make it especially useful for families. The park is also wheelchair accessible. Listening to the sounds helped me understand how many different people and creatures use the same space.
Artifact 3: “Sharing the Riverfront”
Type of Art: Written reflection
Artesani Park is shared by people, trees, birds, insects, and the river. The park gives people space to play and exercise, but it also depends on visitors protecting the water and keeping the land clean.
Caption:T his reflection represents the responsibility people have when using a shared riverfront space.
Short Description:By the end of the visit, I understood that the park has both environmental and community value. The river supports plants and wildlife, while the paths, playground, and recreation areas support the surrounding neighborhoods. Pollution, trash, traffic noise, and heavy use can affect the health of the space.
