Artifact 1: “Boston Common at Night”

Caption: At night, Boston Common felt calmer, with city lights surrounding the trees and open space.
Short Description: At the beginning of my visit, I noticed how different Boston Common felt at night. The park was darker and quieter, but the city lights, buildings, and streets around it were still visible. The trees and grass made the space feel peaceful, even though I was still in the middle of Boston.
Artifact 2: “Quiet Space Under the Lights”

Caption: The lights and quiet paths made the park feel peaceful, but also reminded me that this is still an urban space.
Short Description: In the middle of my visit, I started to notice smaller details, like the lights, shadows, trees, and sounds around me. The park felt calm, but I could still hear cars, people, and city noise nearby. This made me think about how nature and the city exist together in the same space.

Under the city lights, the trees stand quietly. The streets are still moving, but inside the park, I find a slower moment.
Caption: I wrote this poem because Boston Common felt like a quiet space inside the city at night.
Short Description: At the end of my visit, I felt calmer than when I first arrived. Spending time in Boston Common at night helped me notice the contrast between the busy city and the peaceful park. The poem represents how nature can still create a quiet moment, even when surrounded by lights, streets, and buildings.
